    Starting where you actually are

A note on why the intro call is just an honest conversation, changing habits, and why taking things at your own pace matters.

    Starting where you actually are
Real personal change happens when we stop pretending and start where we actually stand.

People sometimes arrive at a first coaching call expecting a clinical assessment, a rigid syllabus, or a high-pressure sales pitch. The introductory conversation here is none of those things.

When I decided to cut alcohol out of my life almost three years ago, I did not start by claiming I had everything figured out. I started by acknowledging where I actually was. From that honest starting point, I have since climbed mountains, literally and figuratively. By changing what we believe and how we treat ourselves, it is surprising what we can achieve.

Reflective work only moves when you are genuinely ready, not when an arbitrary schedule says you should be. Forcing the pace or trying to perform for a coach tends to close the very doors we are trying to open.

That is why our introductory call is simply an open, zero-pressure conversation. We talk about what brought you here, what you are noticing in your life, and whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.

There is no obligation to book a full session afterward. If we decide to work together, we go at a speed that feels grounded and manageable for you.

We start where you actually are today, not where you think you ought to be.

    A common question
What happens in the first call?

We talk for 15-20 minutes. There is no pressure, no sales tactic, and no clinical diagnosis. It is simply a chance to connect and see if working together feels right.
